To promote vocational education, each department showcased its most representative themes. This time, 24 DIY booths were added for everyone to experience, and a total of 490 teachers and students from six high schools participated. The Office of Academic Affairs also organized a fun treasure hunt activity, where participants explored and completed challenges at five locations, with the library as the central point, and could enter a prize draw upon completion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event was divided into different zones:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&#8220;Zone A&#8221; &#8211; Plant Medicine Department:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>&#8220;Blooming Happiness &#8211; Pressed Flower Coaster Creation&#8221; led by Professor Huang Cang-Hai from the Crop Production Department, creating unique pressed flower coasters.<\/li><li>&#8220;Insect Museum&#8221; presented by Professor Zhang Cui-Ying from the Plant Medicine Department, showcasing the rich diversity of insects, including a hands-on experience in making lifelike and edible caterpillar-shaped mochi.<\/li><li>&#8220;Pest Biocontrol&#8221; with Professor Chen Wen-Hua, demonstrating the safe and effective use of natural enemies for pest control.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&#8220;Zone B&#8221; &#8211; Big Data Center:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>&#8220;Biomedical and Aerospace Materials &#8211; Application and Experience of Titanium Alloy&#8221; performed by Professor Hong Ting-Fu from the Materials Engineering Department, showcasing the magical color-changing properties of titanium alloy.<\/li><li>&#8220;God and Demon Hand&#8221; by Professor Xu Zi-Gui from the Bachelor&#8217;s Degree Program in Smart Electromechanics, demonstrating the control of a mechanical arm using IoT technology on a mobile phone.<\/li><li>&#8220;Non-Juice Soft Drink and Artificial Salmon Roe Making Experience&#8221; explained by Professor Gong De-An from the Food Safety Management Institute, addressing food safety issues and demonstrating the production of artificial salmon roe.<\/li><li>&#8220;Colorful Brown Rice Fruit &#8211; Shake Your Taste&#8221; led by Professor Lin Zhen-Xin from the Food Science Department, allowing participants to make their own colorful brown rice fruit shakes.<\/li><li>&#8220;Lu Guang Rice Farm&#8221; from the Bachelor&#8217;s Degree Program in Agricultural Technology, introducing the rice growth process and allowing participants to make their own onigiri.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&#8220;Zone C&#8221; &#8211; Early Childhood Education Department:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>&#8220;Parent-Child Fun &#8211; Children&#8217;s Creative Educational Toy Practical Operation&#8221; led by Professor Zeng Rong-Xiang from the Early Childhood Education Department, guiding both adults and children in clay corn operation and making homemade children&#8217;s toys.<\/li><li>&#8220;Innovative Vaccines&#8221; by Professor Ke Guan-Ming from the Department of Veterinary Medicine, showcasing the observation of chicken embryo urinary sacs and the emulsification effect of vaccines and adjuvants.<\/li><li>&#8220;Water and Milk Fusion&#8221; for experiencing vaccine and adjuvant emulsification.<\/li><li>&#8220;One-Day Dairy Cow Midwife&#8221; by Professor Pan Yu-Yi from the Department of Veterinary Medicine, using cow and calf animal models for a simulated birthing experience.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&#8220;Zone D&#8221; &#8211; Fashion Design and Management Department:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>&#8220;Temporary Tattoo Spray Painting&#8221; by Professor Chen Xiu-Zu from the Fashion Design and Management Department, providing temporary tattoos with personal styles.<\/li><li>&#8220;Fish Printing Experience&#8221; by Professor Zeng Mei-Zhen from the Department of Aquaculture, demonstrating ink application on fish bodies to create artistic fish prints.<\/li><li>&#8220;Biological Science Toys &#8211; Genomic Information Flow Monopoly&#8221; by Professor Yan Jia-Hong from the Department of Biotechnology, using animated stickers and card games to allow students to learn biological knowledge on their own.<\/li><li>&#8220;Using Electric Oven to Make Biochar for Cultivating Green Manure Medium&#8221; by Professor Cai Wen-Tian from the Ph.D. Program in Biotechnology, utilizing eggshells as raw materials for the production of powdered heat-insulating material\/cultivation medium.<\/li><li>&#8220;Stone Player&#8221; by Professor Chen Kun-Ting, using chocolate as a metaphor for rocks, allowing participants to experience the process of rocks melting into magma and then solidifying.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&#8220;Zone E&#8221; &#8211; Resource Engineering Building (Joint Department of Forestry, Civil Engineering, and Water Resources):<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>&#8220;Traditional Plants &#8211; Weaving with Hibiscus&#8221; by Professor Yang Zhi-Kai from the Department of Forestry, guiding participants in weaving small hibiscus leaf coasters and pot holders.<\/li><li>&#8220;Bluetooth Hygrometer&#8221; installation demonstration by Professor Chen Zhi-Jian from the Department of Biosystems Engineering, connecting the Bluetooth module of the device to a smartphone to experience the operation of the Internet of Things.<\/li><li>&#8220;Outdoor Classroom Tour of Soil and Water Conservation&#8221; by Professor Jiang Jie-Lun from the Department of Soil and Water Conservation, including &#8220;Remote Control Drone and Space Information Experience.&#8221;<\/li><li>&#8220;What Has the Jumping Fish Experienced?&#8221; by Professor Chen Zhi-Mou from the Department of Civil Engineering, using a simple hydraulic model to introduce the phenomenon of fish jumping.<\/li><li>&#8220;How to Play with Cement? Up to You!&#8221; by Professor Cai Jia-Rong, allowing participants to experience the preparation of cement and the impact of additives on cement properties.<\/li><li>&#8220;Rock Player&#8221; by Professor Chen Kun-Ting, comparing chocolate to rocks and allowing participants to experience the process of rocks melting into magma and then solidifying.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>By organizing vocational education experience activities, high school students and teachers can explore various aspects of activities, providing diverse career options for students&#8217; future development.
