NPUST College of Management Obtains AACSB Accreditation, Listed Among Top 6% Globally

On July 20, 2022 the official notification was received: the NPUST College of Management has obtained AACSB accreditation. As the 28th school in Taiwan to meet the high standards of AACSB, the NPUST business school is now situated among the world’s top 6%.

The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) is dedicated to the promotion of high-quality business education. As one of the world’s most influential evaluators of business, it also boasts the world’s most expansive global business education network. For the NPUST College of Management, obtaining the AACSB accreditation will not only enhance the university’s international reputation, but will also be conducive to its participation in academic exchanges with world-renowned universities, the establishment of sister relationships, the creation of dual academic frameworks, and the holding of student exchanges.

The former dean of the college, Shu-Chu Liu, commented on the development, saying “for the College of Management to obtain this accreditation, it shows that it has been recognized for its effectiveness. We will continue to maintain an attitude of continuous improvement—emphasizing the integration of theory and practice, and cultivating talent who can meet industry needs. The aim is to become a highly recognized school of management with strong industry ties.”

With the new accreditation lending motivation, NPUST will continue to improve itself and carry on its mission to create an excellent teaching and research environment which gives equal emphasis to theory and practice. And all the while, it will continue to maintain the quality of business management education that the AACSB accreditation represents.
