本院以發揮熱帶農業相關產業為特色，發展安全、健康與永續的「六級」農業科技產業。而永齡農場(yonglin farm)採有機栽種，取得有機認證，實現「三生」—生產，生態與生活結合，為全台具規模的有機農場，且於2016年起陸續導入相關農業科技協助發展，已發展為先進智慧農業園區。這樣的理念及經營模式與本院特色及發展相符，於是2020年9月25日本院陳和賢院長率領本院農園生產系(Department of Plant Industry)、森林系(Department of Forestry)、生物科技系(Department of Biological Science and Technology)、木材科學與設計系(Department of Wood Science and Design)、動物科學與畜產系(Department of Animal Science)、植物醫學系(Department of Plant Medicine)及食品科學系(Department of Food Science)等7個系所15位主管教師群參訪永齡農場，希望藉由本次參訪，落實並促進與產業的結合，期許合作或策略聯盟發展更多的可能性，及培育人才的可行性。為強化本校與永齡農場雙方進一步的合作機會與產學關係，永齡農場白珮玉執行長、劉吉仁總經理及李旻蒼資深副總等3人於2020年11月18日至本校拜會本校戴昌賢校長及本院陳和賢院長，商談未來雙方可以合作結盟的方向與發展性。

College of Agriculture of NPUST is well-known for developing safe, healthy, and sustainable “sixth sector” agricultural technology and related industry. The Yong-Lin farm adopts organic planting and obtains organic certification to integrate the “three lives”-production, ecology, and lifestyle integration. It is a large-scale organic farm in Taiwan, and has been introducing relevant agricultural technology since 2016, and developed into an advanced intelligent agricultural park. The farm’s business model and concept are consistent with our College. Therefore, Dean Ho-Hsien Chen of the College of Agriculture led 15 supervisory professors from 7 departments, including the Department of Plant Industry, the Department of Forestry, and the Department of Biotechnology of Biological Science and Technology, Department of Wood Science and Design, Department of Animal Science, Department of Plant Medicine, and Department of Food Science to visit Yong-Lin Farm on September 25th, hoping to implement and promote the integration with industry through this visit, and explore the opportunities of cooperation or strategic alliances and cultivate talents. In order to strengthen the further cooperation opportunities and industry-academic relations between the school and Yong-Lin Farm, the CEO of Yong-Lin Farm Pei-Yu Pai, General Manager Chi-Jen Liu and Senior Vice President Min- Chang Lee visited NPUST on November 18, 2020 to meet with President, Prof. Chang-Hsien Tai, and Dean Dr. Ho-Hsien Chen, to discuss the direction and development of the future cooperation and alliance between the two sides.
